Learn how to preserve your harvest easily

Join friends and learn how easy it is!!


You will recieve an email confirmation the Monday prior to the event with instructions regarding what you can bring that would allow you to take home some great yummy bounty :)

Supplies list

1 box (12) canning jars (Pint, 12 oz. or 8 oz.) with screw bands and new lids. 

Veggies for pickling (Organic): green tomatoes, beets, pickling cucumbers, peppers, beans, carrots, cabbage, zucchini

Flavorings: Your choice of garlic, onion, herbs (dill, bay, tarragon, etc.), hot peppers, picking spice mix. Approx. 1/2 cup. total.

Join Sustainable Overlook to learn hands-on how to preserve the bounty of the season. We'll be pickling green tomatoes, beets and more depending on what is ready to harvest.
